About us

Game Makers of Finland is the world’s first trade union for the people who work in the game industry!
First founded in December 2017, we now cover around 20% of the industry employees and are ever growing in numbers!

Our mission is to develop, support and assist everyone in the gaming industry. We are a member of Association of IT Sector Employees (Tietoala) and we are part of the Union of the Professional Engineers in Finland.

The unifying factor of GMoF members, regardless of educational background, is the gaming industry. The union provides all it´s members with comprehensive services and benefits.
