Helsinki Pride Week

Helsinki Pride is Finland’s largest human rights and cultural event, held annually in Helsinki. Pride Month is celebrated throughout June, and Helsinki Pride Week will take place from June 22 to June 28, 2026.

There's many events during the week where the Game Makers of Finland is a part of. Below you can find the events and registration links to those events!

Helsinki Pride Parade

When: 27.06.2026 klo 12:00 – 13:00

Where: Helsinki

The Union of Professional Engineers in Finland will participate in the Helsinki Pride Parade with a joint walking block together with Game Makers of Finland, Association of IT sector Employees, Helsinki Society of Engineers, The Union of Engineering Students, Uudenmaan Insinööriopiskelijat and Game Makers of Finland.
 

The Pride Parade is a joyful and visible demonstration for equality, to which everyone is welcome as themselves.
 

Arrival at Senate Square is via Unioninkatu.

Parade route: Senate Square – Aleksanterinkatu – Mannerheimintie – Pohjoisesplanadi – Fabianinkatu – Eteläinen Makasiinikatu – Kasarmikatu – Neitsytpolku – Kaivopuisto.

The parade can also be joined along the route.

Event information:

  • Meetinge at the Alexander Statue starting at 11 am.

  • Participants are expected to arrive at the venue no later than 11:30 am.

  • The parade will start at Senate Square at 12 pm.

  • The starting point of the block is located on the Snellmaninkatu side of the square, near the trucks. The exact location will be announced as soon as it is known.

Helsinki Pride park party

Where: Kaivopuisto, Helsinki

Come join us for a happy Pride Day and celebrate equality!

The Helsinki Pride parade culminates in the Park Festival in Kaivopuisto.

The Union of Professional Engineers in Finland will organize a program together with Game Makers of Finland, Association of IT sector Employees, Helsinki Society of Engineers, The Union of Engineering Students, Uudenmaan Insinööriopiskelijat and Game Makers of Finland at its own tent starting at 1 pm. You can find more information on this page as soon as possible.
 

The park festival will also feature a lot of programs organized by other actors and partners, such as music, performers, a park disco, a Pride Shop and other events. More information can be found on Helsinki Pride's own website.
