Ubisoft proposes closure of RedLynx, putting up to 52 jobs at risk
14.10.2026
Game company Ubisoft has proposed closing its Helsinki-based studio RedLynx, a move that could affect up to 52 employees. Best known for the Trials franchise, RedLynx has been part of Ubisoft since 2011. The proposal is part of Ubisoft’s broader restructuring efforts and remains subject to a consultation process.
We are deeply saddened by this news. RedLynx has played an important role in the growth and success of the Finnish games industry and has provided opportunities for countless game professionals. Finland’s game industry is known for its strong and supportive community, and we hope that new opportunities will quickly emerge for the talented professionals impacted by this change.
